What will my minis be like?
If you've followed along for a while, you know my usual style is documentary/lifestyle — candid, "pretend I'm not there" kind of photos. Minis are their own kind of magic: in just 15 minutes, we're moving, laughing, walking, twirling — capturing real connection between your people — plus a few classic posed shots so you get that one everyone's looking at the camera for. Still full of heart, still full of you, just in a shorter window.

This is where it all started for me — my hometown, and one of my favorite fields to shoot in. Wide open, golden light, room to run. If your family loves that wild, sun-soaked feel, this is the one.

A little snapshot of this season, right where you're living it. Wherever you are right now — deployment prep, a homecoming, or just a rare quiet weekend together — it means something to pause and capture your people exactly as they are. Open grass, a soft treeline backdrop, and a session built around your life on base.

Sand between your toes and that unmistakable coastal glow. This session sits right along the jetty, with the kind of golden hour light that makes everything feel a little more magic. Perfect if your family is happiest with the ocean at their back.
