Hey! I’m Courtney.
My favorite roles in life are being a mama and a wife. I’m a mother of two and a Marine wife currently stationed right here in Oceanside. When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me taking long walks with my littles, coaching a sweet group of mamas for our weekly workouts, tending to a sourdough starter, or settling in for the latest episode of The Great British Baking Show.
My family loves to fully immerse ourselves in each place we call home—inspired by the outdoors and the simple joy of living fully. From the way we decorate our space to the way we live outside it, you’ll find us chasing sunsets and sandy toes, letting our littles guide us through the grass and sand with their exploring eyes.
We do so knowing that with military life comes both the privilege and the hardship of moving on. Because of that, relationships feel more meaningful and fleeting moments become infinitely more precious.
That way of living—fully present, deeply connected, and attentive to the season you’re in—is exactly what I strive to bring into my work.
I carry this perspective into every lifestyle and documentary session I shoot across Oceanside, Camp Pendleton, Carlsbad, and North County San Diego. It all moves so fast. My mission is to capture the honest, unscripted light of this chapter so you can look back and remember exactly what your favorite days felt like long after the moment has passed.

Candid moments have called to me since I first picked up my camera. My two littles inspired me to take it further—to grasp for those authentic moments that capture a story, a feeling, and an experience. Realizing kids need freedom to be comfortable and entirely themselves led me to recognize that adults deserve that same grace. Everyone deserves a space where they are fully supported to show their true personality and character.
There is zero pressure in documentary photography. My approach to storytelling is entirely unscripted. It’s simply time for you to be you, and for your family or loved one to have fun.
Spontaneity, sandy toes, real connection—that is where the passion lives. No stiff posing, no forced smiling. My mission is to capture the authentic joy, the wistful looks in the in-between moments, and the wild laughter little ones inspire just by being themselves.
